Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkin tonight for family night. The boys always love squishing the goopy seeds in their hands.

Bryson preferred using a spoon though.

I think it turned out pretty good.

The boys did their best to imitate the face.

Playing Catch

Since moving into our new house a couple of months ago, we have all been getting used to having neighbors so close. Porter is loving it since he found out that his buddy lives in the house right behind us. One of them will go into the backyard and holler for the other to come out and they will play catch over the fence. It's pretty cute.

Trunk or Treat

We had our ward trunk or treat last night. The boys couldn't wait to get their costumes on.

Ethan went as a zombie. He and Rob worked on his costume all week making sure that it was torn and dirty just the right amount. :)

Porter went as a ninja.

Lincoln was Frankenstein's monster
And Bryson was Buzz Lightyear.

It was a little bittersweet seeing Bryson as Buzz. All the boys have worn this costume, and carried Woody with them. It made my heart happy to see him so happy to wear it.

Finding Beauty

This afternoon I went outside in response to Ethan's frantic yells for help. He had stacked up all the yard toys to help him get up in the tree and got himself stuck. Notice Bryson playing in the car completely oblivious to what is going on above him.) After I took this picture, Bryson insisted that I take his...

And somehow I captured the cutest picture ever. Proof that we can find beauty in the middle of our chaotic lives.

(I did eventually help Ethan too.)

Quick Trip

Amy was going to Arizona for part of their fall break, so Bryson and I hitched a ride with them. The new Phoenix temple was having its open house and we got to walk through. It was so beautiful!!

It was great to visit with family, and hang out with my sisters.

Conference Weekend

We spent the weekend up at my parents house for conference. In between the Saturday sessions we went to a house nearby that you can pay to pick the peaches from their orchard. The boys had so much fun collecting the peaches.

While we watched conference Lincoln drew a picture of a temple. I love his Moroni!
