Couple's Cruise- Houston

We got off the ship and had some time to kill before our flight. We looked up free things to do in Houston and found an art car museum that looked interesting. Even the building was cool.

The museum features just a couple of cars at a time. One of the cars inside was covered in mirrors.

They had a couple of classic cars there and artwork displayed form local artists. After the museum we went by where the Astros play,

then found a cool neighborhood that had restored old homes that we drove around in for a while. The homes were so pretty.

We found a great Mexican restaurant for dinner. We completely stuffed ourselves before heading to the airport to go home.

I'm so glad we got to have this with adventure with Mike and Amy. We love them and had the BEST time with them. Hopefully we can do it again.

Couple's Cruise- Sea Day

I woke up this morning to a terrible smell in our room. It smelled like a sewer and I couldn't be in our room anymore. Rob called guest services to request a room change. It took a good part of our morning to get that settled, but we got a new room that didn't smell, so I was happy. We searched for Amy and Mike but couldn't find them. We got in the hot tub for a while then had lunch at the BBQ grill. We finally found Amy and Mike at the art auction we knew they would be at. It was interesting to see how the auction worked, but I couldn't believe how much the paintings were selling for. We left early and grabbed a snack then played some cards before dinner. We were having so much fun that we decided to just do the buffet for dinner so we could have more time to play. We went back to the comedy show to see the same lady as last night so Amy and Mike could see her act. After the show we went back to play some more cards before heading to bed. We are so sad to get off the ship tomorrow. We have had the best time with these guys!!

Couple's Cruise- Sea Day

Today was a nice relaxing day. So relaxing that I forgot to take hardly any pictures. We slept in, and then after breakfast spent most of our day by the pool reading. The waters were pretty rough today and the the ship was all over the place. It rained off and on while we were out there too, but we would pass under the clouds so fast it didn't last long. We went back to our room to take a nap around 3:30 and nearly slept through dinner. Luckily we woke up in time to get ready real fast. Dinner was great as usual. It was formal night, so the food was extra fancy. The magician from the show we went to a couple of nights ago came by our table during dinner. He remembered Amy from the show and used her for a card trick that none of us could figure out. After dinner Rob and I went to the comedy show while Amy and Mike went to check out a game show. The comedian was hilarious. She was so funny that we'll probably go see her again tomorrow. We met up with Amy and Mike after the show to play some cards. I started to get a migraine after a while, so I went to bed and left them to play

Couple's Cruise- Roatan

We got up this morning and were ready to hit the beach. We found a note from Amy and Mike that they got up early and were already at the beach, so we got some breakfast and made our way down the the beach to find them. We met up with Amy and Mike and hung out in the water for a while...

 before we went snorkeling.

We saw lots of fish and coral. We got back on the boat for lunch, and then went back to the beach.

We hung our the rest of the afternoon reading and napping on our beach chairs. We got back on board as late as possible, soaking up every last minute on the beach.

We cleaned up and went to dinner and ordered so much dessert we could barely fit it on the table.

We went to the magic show then to a 70's/80's name that tune that was a lot of fun. It turned into everyone singing and dancing along to all the songs. The cruise director even came dressed in full 80's gear, it was hilarious.

After that we browsed around the shops for a bit before calling it a night.

Couple's Cruise-Belize

We tendered into Belize and met our tour group. We found a great deal for cave tubing and zip lining through "Butts Up Cave Tubing". They were great! Our guide "Speedy" was awesome and gave the us a city tour as we drove to the tubing site. We got to see a whole different side of Belize than the last time we were there. After about an hour drive we got to our stop and were given helmets and life jackets.

We had to walk about 30 minutes to get to the cave. Our tour company was awesome and had already taken our tubes to the river. We passed several groups that had to carry their own inner tubes to the river. We felt kind of guilty when they would ask where our tubes were.We definitely had the best people taking care of us. We crossed the river a few times as we walked to the opening of the cave. The scenery was spectacular!

Once we got to the cave we got in our tubes and started our adventure.

We were in the cave about 30 minutes. It was so cool! We had a guide with us the whole way and he would pull us along when we got to a slow shallow spot. As we talked to him we learned  that he has a lot of family in the states and has actually been to Apple Valley. Such a small world! After we left the cave we continued down the river for another 30 minutes.

Once we were done tubing we geared up for the zip lining.

Amy and Mike had never been before, and they were pretty excited. We went down 6 different zips. Two of them crossed over the river, and one of them was over 1,000 feet long. Needless to say, we all had a blast.

After zip lining, they took us to a place and fed us lunch. They gave us chicken tamales, and the boys had to have a coca cola made with real cane sugar in the bottle.

After lunch, we left to head back to the ship. Once back at the terminal we did a little shopping with the locals. Mike was wearing his Brazil shirt and met a lady from Brazil as we were shopping. Mike and Rob spent some time talking with her and both said after that they felt like they were back on their missions. We bought a few things from the locals and then got back on the boat. Amy and I went to our rooms to freshen up for dinner and Rob and Mike went to the hot tub. Amy and I were ready before the boys got back so we went for a pre-dinner snack. Just some ice cream, a hamburger and chili cheese fries. :)

We met the boys for dinner and then went to watch karaoke. Mike finally got a chance to sing and performed a great "La Bamba".

We stuck around for the Magic show after. He had some pretty good tricks and Amy got to participate a little too. After the show we got some cards and ice cream and played hearts for a while before going to bed. It really was the best day ever!!

Couple's Cruise- Cozumel

We went to breakfast in the dining room this morning. The boat was still pulling into port and the back of the boat was shaking like an earthquake. Our cups and dishes were sliding around our table. It was interesting to watch them maneuver the boat into place. Usually that happens while we are still sleeping. After breakfast we made our way off the ship and got a taxi to take us to Paradise Beach. It was so fun to take Amy and Mike there. Rob and Mike got straight to snorkeling while Amy and I took out a kayak.

Next we went out on the inflatable obstacles. We started with a king of the hill style battle on a floating raft. I think everyone on the beach was probably entertained by us.

We also did the slides,

trampolines,

and Rob and Mike launched me off the water blob. It was a little scary, but super fun. We all got a good workout climbing on all the toys.

After we were worn out we got out of the water to get some lunch. The nachos were so good! After we ate, we hung out on the beach chairs and just relaxed the rest of the time.

We got back to the ship in time to shower before dinner. Rob and I went to dinner at the other dining room so Amy and Mike could have a nice romantic dinner alone. We met back up for the comedy show and laughed a ton. We had to stop at the piano bar for a bit after that too. We have really enjoyed hanging out there, but find ourselves getting to o comfortable and start getting sleepy. So we went to get a late snack to perk us up. We found a party going on on the lido deck, and Amy and I jumped in for some dancing and a conga line. So fun!! Then we grabbed some ice cream and went and played shuffle board. It was such a fun day!!

Couple's Cruise- Sea Day

We slept in until 9:30. It has been so long since we slept that late. We went up for a late breakfast and found Amy and Mike. It was still chilly outside, so we decided to get in the hot tub.

We spent a few hours there visiting with a lot of different people on the ship. We always enjoy chatting with new people. After we changed, we went for a late lunch, and then over to the shuffleboard table. Amy and Mike opted to take a nap after lunch. We played a few more rounds of shuffleboard on our own and a few with some new friends on board. Amy and Mike eventually met up with us there and we played a few games with them too.

It was formal night for dinner. It was fun to get dressed up.

The food was so good! Rob and Mike each got prime rib and 3 lobster tails, crazy boys!!

We had a good time being silly at dinner. Mike danced with the wait staff, and we had fun making goofy faces for the photographer.

Our waiters even sang to us for our anniversaries.

After dinner, we went to the comedy show. It's always a favorite. We hit the piano bar again and it was so fun. We made sure to request songs that we thought people would sing along to and it worked.

The whole crowd was into it and singing along, and Mike got up and danced to some Elvis too. Everyone cheered when he finished. We had so much fun picking songs and even got him to play a little supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. We were starting to get tired and left to go to bed, but decided to check the weather outside. We were excited when the weather was so nice and not cold anymore. We started to take pictures and a lot of silliness happened.

We all had a good laugh and caught a second wind and weren't tired anymore. We went inside to get some hot chocolate, which led to pizza, and then ice cream, funny how that happens. :)

After more visiting and laughing we called it for the night so we can get some rest for tomorrow's activities.
