Happy Birthday Trevor!

This week my youngest brother turns 18, so crazy! Trevor has never been to Raging Waters so we thought it would be fun to go for his birthday. We were hoping for a larger group to be able to go, but only a few of us were able to get out of work and our parenting responsibilities. (Thanks Rob and Mike!)

We had SO much fun!! I wish I could have had my camera on the slides.

A few funny moments that I wish I could have captured:

• My dad in the lazy river furiously paddling with the face of pure determination to try to catch up to us... just so he could knock us over, splash, or push us.
• My sister, Amy, trying over and over and over again to get into her inner tube in the lazy river, and not being able to balance herself.
• My dad's wicked awesome 180 degree spin onto his raft. The lifeguard said it was the best entry he'd ever seen!

We are so glad that Trevor's part of our family. He can always make us laugh...

...because he's just as goofy as the rest of us!! :)

First Day of School

Today was Ethan's first day of kindergarten. He has been so excited, and has been counting down the days. He has a cute little teacher, that I'm sure he will love. He had a bit of a crush on his preschool teacher, so I bet it won't be long before he's crushing on Mrs. Stehmeier too!!

When we went inside he was excited to see his name and find his spot. He had no problem when we left, I think he was actually anxious for us to go. I was so proud of him.

After I picked him up, we went and got some ice cream to celebrate. He said he did a lot of fun things and had the best day ever!!

Back in business!!

I didn't think that my sweet husband was ever going to trust me with a camera again. Heck, I don't know if I trust myself. Well, last week he told me that I should get another camera since Ethan is starting kindergarten soon. (A week from today, can you believe it?!) We agreed on getting a very basic camera, nothing fancy this time. We just got it delivered and had to test it out...

Of course the best way to test it out is to get silly...

So I should be back in the blogging business now that I'll have some cute faces to inspire me again!!
