Birthday Boy

My little man turned 2 today!!

 We kept it simple this year and had cake and gifts with just our family. Bryson loves his trains, so I made him the same train cake that I've done for the other boys. Weird to think that this will be the last time I do it.

We love this boy so much, he brings so much joy to our family!

Every morning after he wakes up he climbs in my bed for some cuddle time. He has to be close enough that our heads touch.

He is our prayer police. As soon as we sit down for dinner, he says "pare, pare" (prayer, prayer)

Birthday Love

Today is my 35th birthday. It was a rough one. But then Ethan gave me this card. He made it completely on his own. He is always so thoughtful when it's someone's birthday. Love him.

A Quick Visit

We decided last minute to go to Arizona for the weekend to see the new Gilbert temple. We stayed with the Lindahl's in Queen Creek Friday night, since they are so close to the temple. It was so great to see our friends even if it was for a short time. The temple was beautiful. It is one of the first full size temples to be built in a long time. It was a great experience to take the boys.

  

Thankfully they waited until we were back outside to resume their usual silliness. 

After we toured the temple, we went to the Vehar's house and stayed the night with them. Another quick visit, but always fun to be with family. On the way home our car died. We were stuck about 2 hours from home. Thankfully, Eric was willing to come rescue us. I'm sure it wasn't the way he wanted to spend his Sunday afternoon, but we sure appreciate him being such a good friend.

A Valentines Surprise

 I got the best surprise on Friday. My buddy Miles from my nursery class came to the house and brought me the sweetest note and a cupcake. I love teaching the kids in nursery, and this just made my day.

We got the boys basketball pictures back today. All of them look cute, but Lincoln's smile is cracking me up.
