We decided last minute to go to Arizona for the weekend to see the new Gilbert temple. We stayed with the Lindahl's in Queen Creek Friday night, since they are so close to the temple. It was so great to see our friends even if it was for a short time. The temple was beautiful. It is one of the first full size temples to be built in a long time. It was a great experience to take the boys.
Thankfully they waited until we were back outside to resume their usual silliness.
After we toured the temple, we went to the Vehar's house and stayed the night with them. Another quick visit, but always fun to be with family. On the way home our car died. We were stuck about 2 hours from home. Thankfully, Eric was willing to come rescue us. I'm sure it wasn't the way he wanted to spend his Sunday afternoon, but we sure appreciate him being such a good friend.
