It's good to be back!!

Despite the ridiculous prices at Disneyland, Rob and I agreed that our kids aren't going to be little forever and decided to get annual passes again.Yesterday we surprised the boys and took them out of school early to go. We didn't tell them where we were going. All we said is that we were going to visit our friend "Don" that we hadn't seen in a long time. We were waiting to turn down the street that takes us to the parking structure, and Porter noticed the name of the street, (Disneyland Dr.) and says, "Disneyland doctor??" We were laughing so hard. Once they realized where we were they were pretty darn excited.

I was most excited for Lincoln to experience Disneyland. He was just a baby last time we had passes, so it was like he was a first timer. He loves Mickey Mouse, so I pointed him out when we first got in the park and he said, "Who's in him?" I was crushed. We missed his window of believing in Disney magic. Oh well, we still had fun! I felt bad that Bryson couldn't go on much, but he seemed content just watching.

We found out that Ethan is a bit of a thrill seeker. I took him on California Screamin' and he was a maniac! He was yelling and screaming, "Wooo, this is awesome!!" the whole time. Even before the ride started he was so pumped!

The climbing wall was perfect for my Porter monkey. He could do that all day.

We got to go to Cars land for the first time, and it was so fun. You really feel like you are in Radiator Springs. And the radiator springs racers was awesome. When the car pulled up along side us Lincoln was waving and being his typically friendly self. Once he realized we were racing the other car, his expression totally changed. He was throwing dirty looks the whole race. I was dying, it was so funny! Thank goodness we won! It was a great day, and I'm so glad we got passes again. I'm looking forward to some good quality family time in the next year.

Pinewood Derby

Ethan participated in his first pinewood derby for scouts last night. He worked hard on his car and was pretty happy getting 3rd place. Too bad I couldn't get him to take the sucker out of his mouth for the picture!

Birthday Fun

My Lincoln is 4 today!! He wanted to wear his tie today to church, already wanting to be grown up.

After church we measured him and marked it on the chart. He was excited to see how much he grew from last year. (3 whole inches!)

We managed to squeeze in some cuddle time before birthday festivities too.
After dinner we had birthday cake. Lincoln requested an owl cake this year.

This boy brings so much love to our family, I am so glad he's ours!

Cool Kid

I find him like this all the time. He is awesome even when he sleeps.

A Boy and His Waffles

This silly boy LOVES waffles. I have to keep a stock of frozen ones so he can get to them fast. (He's not very patient when it comes to food) He eats a ton of them, and actually prefers them cold. How can I tell that face no?!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day we went up to my mom's and dad's house. Trevor was skyping from Sweden on Sunday, so we went up on Saturday since most of the family was going to be there. Nathan even flew in from Texas. We had fun playing volleyball on Saturday.

Sunday we finally got to skype with Trevor. It was so good to see his face! He's doing really well, and loving it there.
It was a great family filled weekend.

Love this kid

Porter loves basketball, and loves that we have a hoop in the backyard now. He usually goes out back as soon as he gets home from school. Today he was so excited that he even forgot to take his backpack off. Gotta love his form!

Boys Day Out

Rob, Ethan, and Porter met up with the Jacklin boys for an Angels game yesterday. By the looks of the pictures they came back with, it looks like they had a pretty good time. They even got some awesome hats!
