When we were done with out vacation we headed to my parents house for a special weekend.
We were celebrating a lot of birthdays but mostly this guy, my dad!!
Friday was his 60th birthday, and we weren't going to miss it. While he was planning to surprise my mom with Angels tickets, (her birthday is the day before) we were planning our own surprise. While they were gone at the game we were gathering at their house getting it ready for a party!! They didn't get home until after 11pm, and boy was he surprised to find the house full of kids and grandkids! All the grandkids mobbed him with hugs, it was pretty cute! Despite being so late and being way past his usual 9pm bedtime we insisted on a full celebration, including cake and party hats! We were getting ready to call it a night at 12:30am when my brother Bryan called to see if were still up and to see if he could swing by after he got off his shift at 1am. So of course we waited up and didn't go to bed until 2am!

We spent most of Saturday hanging out poolside. That night we set up all the kids with some pizza and all the adults got to go have dinner alone to celebrate the August birthdays- there's 4 in one week! (A big thanks to Aubree and Kaeleigh for watching all the little ones!) It was so nice to visit without interuption! Everyone was there except for my brother's family out in Texas, we missed them!
