After school yesterday we went down to the Los Angeles county fair. We met our friends the Lindahl's there. The boys had a blast. There was so much stuff for them to play with and look at. They thought the snake was cool to watch move around in his cage.
They had some great exhibits. Here they had to guess whose eye was pictured.
They liked the law enforcement exhibit, but liked being the bad guys stuck in jail.
They had an area with a bunch of big rocking horses that Lincoln loved...
With an area to practice their roping skills too.
Lincoln and Ella have a bit of a love/hate relationship. I was glad that this day they liked each other! :)
The boys favorite thing we did is watch the science show. The guy showed some great experiments.
It was hilarious to watch them jump back when he started throwing stuff their way!
It was pretty hot and we were out of water, so we indulged in some ice cream.
Ethan and Jacob got to train to be a knight.
They had to take an oath...
...before they were let loose to practice.
Above anything else, the thing we did most was stop at every. single. photo booth! Ethan begged to stop at each one to take a picture, and these things were EVERYWHERE! He would take a good look at each one before going behind to make the appropriate face. This is just a sampling of some of his best work.
This one was by far my favorite. I laugh every time I look at it.
