It's Great To Be 8!

We celebrated Ethan's 8th birthday today.

The Jacklin's,Cordova's, and Grandpa and Grandma Krepps joined us for the party. We started off with some minute to win it style games.
 First we had the kids shake some ping pong balls out of a tissue box, which was quite entertaining to watch.

Then we had to see who could stack the cups the fastest,

...and knock over some water bottles with the ball and stockings on our head.

Then we had a game for the grown ups. We had to pick up a brown paper bag up off the floor with our mouth, without touching the floor with our hands as the paper bag got shorter and shorter each round. Rob and Eric were quite the competitors.

Then we gathered for some cake.

 Ethan was pretty pleased with his candy cake.

 Then he opened his gifts.

 Ethan may be the only 8 year old that wanted an alarm clock for his birthday!

He still loves to read, and reads a lot!

He is very responsible
