Over the weekend we had a little adult getaway in honor of this guy...
Trevor is getting ready to serve a mission, and requested that before he left we get to have a weekend with adults only. Being an uncle to soon to be 20 nieces and nephews can be a little crazy, so we all understood! We were hoping that all our siblings and spouses would be able to go, but it wasn't possible for everyone. Brent, unfortunately, got sick and wasn't able to make it, we missed him. A few of our spouses stayed back with the kids so we could go, and it was so appreciated! We stayed at a beautiful cabin in Big Bear, and the weather was perfect when we got there on Friday. We all sat out on the porch and got to visit without any interruption...so nice!
It's funny how getting all of us together, somehow the last 20 years melt away. We had so much fun!
The next day we went to ride the Alpine Slide.
-Everyone but me, of course. I was designated picture taker.:)
Bryan wasn't a happy camper when a little girl in front of him slowed him down. We insisted that he go again. The second time down he was going so fast on one of the last turns that he flipped his sled. Notice all the concrete dust on his clothes! At least he was happy though!
We stayed through the weekend and came home Sunday afternoon. It was great to be with everyone!
