Beach Day

We had another beach day on Thursday. This time we went with my sister, Amy and her family. It's been so nice to have relaxing beach trips and not be so worried about the boys! Porter loves digging in the sand, and was determined to make another hole to play in.

 

All the kids got in on the plan. Although I ended up doing most of the work!

While they were digging the hole, Ethan and Porter kept throwing sand at each other. I caught a great picture of Porter sneaking up on Ethan for a little revenge. His look of victory makes me laugh!

Lincoln got his toes wet maybe twice. The rest of the day he spent in the hole. He's perfectly happy in the sand.

 

Ethan learned how to boogie board on our last beach trip and LOVES it! He pulls the best faces as he comes in. He was in the water all day.

 

Porter's favorite thing to do is to run in the waves. He loves hopping over them when they come in.

 

Ethan was wave jumping with Porter while Amy was on the boogie board. They kept teasing her that she wouldn't be able to get them. Every time she'd ride a wave in, they would make a run for it.

Me and Bryson hung out most of the day under the umbrella. Despite my crazy hair, I love this picture. It is the first picture I have of him that you can see his teeth that broke through last month.

 

Unfortunately for Rob and Mike, they spent most of the day in the car driving home and back to pick up a spare key after Rob lost ours in the ocean! :(

Luckily we were able to have them with us all day Friday. My nieces and nephew start school on Monday, so it was nice to hang out with them one last time this summer.
