Since we have an adorable little boy who's mommy isn't ready to leave him behind just yet, we kept it simple for our anniversary this year. We did send Ethan and Porter up to the High Desert for the weekend though, thanks to my awesome family! We went out to dinner Thursday night and then attempted Disneyland the next day. It was really crowed so we didn't stay for too long.
We had to go see the new "Great moments with Mr. Lincoln".
Then we went to see the goats. All Lincoln wanted to do was pull their hair, poor things!!
All weekend we kept reminiscing about the days when Ethan was a baby and how tough it seemed at the time, being overwhelmed new parents. We both just laughed as we realized just how easy it is to be the parents of a baby!! We were a little bummed at first that we weren't going to be able to be alone, but we really did enjoy having the one on one time with Lincoln. So although we didn't get to do anything fancy this year, the little guy helped us remember why we were married for eternity.

I don't wonder how we missed seeing you anymore...you weren't there long, but we didn't share your desire to pull on goat hair (:
I did however want to see the Lincoln show. Maybe next time? Was it good?
