We left Honeyman State park early so we could spend as
much time with Aunt Sharon as possible. We stopped at Mike's house in Tacoma first to drop off
the trailer and then followed them to Sharon's house near Seattle. She was so sweet and had
gifts for all the boys when we got there. Aunt Carol was there too and it was
fun to hang out and visit.
Sharon's neighbor offered to let the boys come
pick raspberries and the kids jumped at the chance. They were filling their
mouths faster than their buckets.
We spent some time helping Sharon with
her house. We washed her windows and pulled some weeds in her garden. For
dinner the guys went and picked up some pizza from a local place. It was so
yummy! The boys had packed some books for the trip and Bryson and Lincoln brought theirs in so they could read with Sharon. It was a sweet moment.
In Washington it doesn't get dark until 10 so we had to wait quite a
while for fireworks. I wasn't sure Bryson was going to make it, but everyone was awake when it was time. We've never
been able to shoot off our own fireworks before so the boys
loved it.
