We went to Yucaipa to enjoy the fresh snow today. We found a nice spot near Oak Glen for some sledding and fun. This was Lincoln's first time in the snow. He looked like a big marshmallow in his over sized coat, but it kept him warm!
Anytime we go to the snow all Ethan wants to do is have a snowball fight. He was ambushing us all afternoon!
Ethan made sure that we brought a carrot with us so we could make a snowman. The boys had fun helping Rob roll up the snow
We brought our sleds with us and found the perfect spot that wasn't too steep for the boys.
Even Lincoln took some rides down the hill, he may end up my little thrill seeker.
Some of our friends met us up there and the kids had so much fun sledding with their buddies too. Unfortunately by then my camera battery had died. We stayed and played until the sun went down. It was such a fun day, and just gorgeous up there. According to Ethan, the most fun he's had in his entire life.

How fun Jen! I can't believe there was that much snow just in Yucaipa!! What fun memories with your family!!
Where were you? In all the time I've lived here in CA, I have no idea where to go for the snow besides the resorts which were pretty much impossible to get to this weekend.
Rebecca, we were in Yucaipa,(just past Redlands)near Oak Glen. They don't normally get snow there, so it worked out since all the roads were closed up the mountain.
BRRRRR... that looks like some cold fun! You have such a cute family!
