Rob took off this past weekend in hopes that we could take the boys to the beach. After we checked the weather, we realized that it was just going to be too cold! So we decided to head out to Palm Springs where we knew it would be warm. We stayed at a beautiful hotel there, one of the nicest we've stayed at. The pool was awesome. They had a big pool and a little one for kids that was only 2ft deep. It was perfect. We spent most of the first day in the kids pool. We pretty much had it to ourselves the whole time. The boys enjoyed playing in the water without having to wear their jackets. We taught them to play Marco Polo, and Ethan figured out that he could wear his goggles and not have to worry about getting splashed.
They even had a sand boy next to the kids pool that Lincoln loved.
After we swam all day we headed up to our room to relax. I guess Lincoln didn't think that he got enough time swimming, because as soon as he saw the tub he insisted that he needed a bath.
Rob went and picked up a pizza, and we hung out and watched a movie.
The next morning Ethan woke up and got ready for the pool right away.
We spent the morning in the pool until we had to check out.
Lincoln was so content just lounging and eating snacks.
It was the perfect little getaway. The boys had so much fun!
